Roseville 2012-2015 Parks and Recreation Renewal Program <br /> Public engagement strategy <br /> N� Page 8 <br /> A follow-up postcard might be sent two weeks in advance of the meeting as a reminder. <br /> We need your input! <br /> The City of Roseville will be making significant improvements to its parks and <br /> recreation system over the next three years. <<<insert park name>>> is scheduled for <br /> improvements soon and the first step is sharing ideas for improvements. Please plan <br /> to attend meetings to discuss <<<insert park name>>> scheduled for: <br /> ➢ <<<insert time, date, and place for meeting 1>>> <br /> ➢ <<<insert time, date, and place for meeting 2>>> <br /> You can find more information about our parks improvements by checking the city's <br /> website. On the home page, click on the "Parks & Recreation Program tab on the left <br /> side of the screen. <br /> Your voice is important! We hope you can attend! <br /> Essentially the same information could be included: <br /> The letter and the postcard are provided for general content direction only. The letter may be on <br /> city letterhead or a more customized sheet used for the renewal program. Staff may desire to <br /> add graphics or photographs to enliven the postcard. <br /> Meetings with local boards and commissions <br /> Through the process of implementing improvements, it will be useful to provide updates to the <br /> City Council, the Parks and Recreation Commission, and other local boards and commissions. In <br /> each case, updates would likely occur as a part of their own meeting agenda; it's equally likely <br /> that an update on the renewal program will be limited in time. Updates could be best timed to <br /> coincide with presentations of concept plans as indicated in the Project Schedule (generally <br /> scheduled for mid-March, late April, and mid-June). <br /> Tasks <br /> While not definitive or comprehensive, the following list of tasks might assist in the process of <br /> ensuring engagement activities are well-planned and coordinated to allow the best possible <br /> involvement of residents and stakeholders. <br /> Tasks <br />
