EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA HELD: April 27, 1998 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, of the City Council of the City of Roseville, called and held at the City Hall in said City April, 1998, at 6:30 P.M. a regular meeting Minnesota, was duly on the 27th day of The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel Wall, Wiski, Goedeke, and the following were absent: None Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO . 9545 RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE IMPOSITION OF SERVICE CHARGES WITHIN SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO.1 WHEREAS, The City Council deems it necessary and expedient that the City of Roseville, Minnesota impose service charges within Special Service District No. 1 in an amount sufficient to provide revenues required to provide special services in Special Service District No.1. WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 428A provides that no such service charges shall be imposed until the Council shall have held a public hearing on such service charges following mailed notice and two publications thereof in the official newspaper stating the time and place of the hearing, containing a map showing the boundaries of the proposed special service district and a statement that all persons owning property in the proposed district that will be subject to a service charge will be given an opportunity to be heard at the hearing; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: 1- forth in consider District A public hearing will be held at the time and place set the Notice of Hearing attached hereto as Exhibit A to the imposition of service charges within Special Service No. 1. 2.
