<br />EXTRACT OF MWUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 8th day of June, 1998, <br />at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, Maschka and Wall <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9556 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSOLIDATION OF PARCELS AND <br />GRANTING VARIANCES TO CREATE ONE BUILDABLE PARCEL AND <br />ESTABLISH A BUILDING ENVELOPE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2100 WILLIAM STREET NORTH <br />AT THE REQUEST OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville owns one preexisting non-conforming parcel at <br />2100 William Street as well as a vacant 5,875 sf parcel to the south of 21 00 Williams <br />Street North and is proposing to consolidate the two parcels; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville through its Housing Replacement Program is <br />requesting variances to reduce the minimum combined parcel area to 10,875 square <br />feet and the minimum combined parcel width to 87 feet for the purpose of creating one <br />building parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is also requesting variances to reduce the north <br />side yard setback to ten feet and the south front yard setback t025 feet for the purpose <br />of establishing a building envelope for a new single family dwelling at 2100 William <br />Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />the request on Wednesday, May 27,1998, gathered public comment, and <br />recommended approval of the requested consolidation and the variances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, June 8, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. Both parcels are currently substandard parcels of record. Consolidating <br />the two parcels into one buildable parcel for a new single family home will <br />create a new parcel with an area similar to other parcels in the <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />Resolution 9556- Page 1 of 3 <br />
