<br />EKTRACTOFMWUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 22nd day of June, 1998, <br />at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, Wall, and Wiski; and <br />the following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9559 <br /> <br />GRANTING A VARIANCE <br />TO REDUCE THE SIDE YARD SETBACK AT <br />1720 CHA TSWORTH STREET NORTH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.018 of the Roseville City Code requires a side yard <br />setback of five feet for platted lots or parcels of record existing on May 21, 1959; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lois Nyman has requested a variance to reduce the north side yard <br />setback to three feet for the purpose of constructing an eight-foot addition to an attached <br />single car garage at 1720 Chatsworth Street North, legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The North 75 feet of the South 508 feet (more or less) of part of the <br />Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, <br />Section 14, Township 29 - Range 23 (PIN 142923340015); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br />request on Wednesday, May 27, 1998, and recommended approval of the requested <br />variance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation on Monday, June 22, 1998, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. Section 1012.01 (8) of the City Code requires a side yard setback of five feet <br />for a parcel existing on May 21, 1959.
