The substandard width of the lot, the location of the existing house on the property, and the location of mature trees on the parcel create practical difficulties for constructing a detached garage on the parcel. 3. The proposed variance is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the City's Comprehensive Plan and Title 10 of the City Code (Zoning). 4. The proposed variance, if granted, will not adversely affect the public health, safety, or general welfare. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that a variance to reduce the north side yard setback to three feet for the purpose of constructing an eight- foot addition to an attached single car garage at 1720 Chatsworth Street North be granted, with the following provision: 1. The house service wires must be placed underground in conjunction with construction of the garage addition. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Wiski and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Goedeke, Maschka, Mastel, and Wiski; and the following voted against the same: Wall. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
