shall pay Allina Health Emergency Medical Services the amount of <br />$2,625.00 ("Basic Fee"). The Basic Fee shall be paid as follows: <br />$1,312.50 on or before February 1, 2013 ("First Basic Fee <br />Payment"); and <br />$1,312.50 on or before February 1, 2014 ("Second Basic Fee <br />Payment"). <br />2. Contract Administration. Communications between Roseville and Allina <br />Health Emergency Medical Services shall be coordinated through: i) the District <br />Operations Manager, the lead Emergency Medical Services ("EMS") instructor <br />assigned to Roseville Fire Department and/or the External Education Supervisor <br />of Allina Health Emergency Medical Services, and ii) the Roseville Fire <br />Department Administration designee. Physician medical direction oversight will <br />be provided through the Allina Health Emergency Medical Services Medical <br />Director and such other physicians as Allina Health Emergency Medical Services <br />may contract with from time-to-time for such services. <br />3. Additional Services. In addition to the medical director oversight identified <br />above, Allina Health Emergency Medical Services shall make available other <br />services including, but not limited to, those services set forth in Exhibit B <br />attached hereto. Any additional services beyond those listed in Exhibit B shall <br />require the parties mutual agreement before such services are provided. <br />4. East Metro SWAT Medical Proqram Allina Health Emergency Medical <br />Services acknowledges that the Roseville Fire Department in cooperation and <br />coordination with the East Metro SWAT Team will provide emergency response, <br />stand-by coverage, team member training, equipment purchase, and standard <br />development for the multiple agency East Metro SWAT team. Allina Health <br />Emergency Medical Services acknowledges that it is the intention of Roseville <br />that members of the SWAT medical team will operate under Emergency Medical <br />Technician ("EMT") advanced protocols as established and approved by Allina <br />Health Emergency Medical Services as part of this agreement. <br />5. Paramedic Certification The Roseville Fire Department has employees <br />that are certified at the level of "Paramedic". Allina Health Emergency Medical <br />Services will provide access to educational content to assist in meeting <br />continuing education requirements to maintain their "Paramedic" certification <br />level. Education may be offered online or in person at the Roseville Fire <br />Department or at various Allina Health Emergency Medical Services locations. <br />6. Roseville Fire Department. Roseville shall be solely responsible for the <br />direction and control of its employees and the services provided by its employees <br />when they are engaged in providing emergency response, care and treatment <br />2 <br />
