<br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date: 3/11/13 <br /> Item No.: 10.b <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Item Description: Roseville Housing and Redevelopment Authority Quarterly Joint Meeting <br />with the City Council <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />B ACKGROUND 1 <br />At the 2012 annual joint meeting between the City Council and the Roseville Housing and 2 <br />Redevelopment Authority (RHRA), it was decided that the two bodies should meet more 3 <br />frequently, perhaps quarterly, given the expanded work plan the RHRA is undertaken from its 4 <br />newly approved strategic plan. Therefore, the RHRA Board and staff would like to give the City 5 <br />Council an update on some of the issues they have been working on in 2013. 6 <br />Dale Street Fire Station 7 <br />As the City Council is aware, the Roseville HRA ow ns the approximately 2 acres at the corner of 8 <br />Dale St. and Cope Ave. and has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the City to 9 <br />purchase the Dale Street Fire Station once it is vacated. 10 <br />The public participation phase of the future development planning will kick off on April 11 th as 11 <br />part of the Corridor Development Initiative (CDI) process.
