Develop programs ^N� ron�mmov�,a�+;,,,,� �,,,. +�,o r,.,,,,,.;� to encourage <br />and assist in the development of neighborhood groups, forums, and <br />networks in order to provide residents with a sense of belonging and <br />facilitate effective citizen engagement. <br />�✓ Recommendations completed with Neighborhood and Community Engagement <br />Task Force presentation to the Council on October 22, 2012 <br />i O�vGO11vG RESPO�vsIB1LITY while awaiting Council action to create a separate <br />commission. <br />C. Awaiting response from the Minnesota Department of Human <br />Rights regarding sharing data on discrimination complaints filed with the State. <br />D. Continue and build upon current programs and diversity dialogues with a <br />focus on local and state issues. Purpose is to encourage recognition and <br />respect for civil and human rights, and mutual understanding and <br />appreciation_ � on the community's diversity. <br />� Signifzcant work achieved on programming on local and state issues with four <br />programs and one forum on state constitutional amendments. <br />� Rega�ding Diversity Dialogues little progress except for the inclusion of gays <br />and lesbians as part of our community's dialogues. <br />� Plan a 2013 program on cultural dive�si , and app�eciation to occu� late summer <br />o� fall of 2013 (03-11-201. Recommendation of.Ioan Dao). <br />E.
