<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 14th day of December, 1998, at 7:15p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel, Maschka, Wall <br />The following members were absent None <br /> <br />Member_Maschka)ntroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9613 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE ANNUAL AMENDMENT <br />AND REVISION TO THE 1998 ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />REVISING THE TEXT AND LAND USE MAP DESIGNATIONS <br />OF THE EXISTING PLAN ORIGINALLY ADOPTED IN 1994 (AS AMENDED) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Metropolitan Land Planning Acts of 1976 and 1996 the <br />City of Roseville is required to prepare a city comprehensive plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, in 1979 adopted a plan entitled "City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan", which was reviewed and approved by the Metropolitan council, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council established a comprehensive plan review and has assisted <br />by further authorizing a citizen survey (1990 and 1998) and community Visioning Process <br />(1992), entitled VISTA 2000, with over 100 citizen volunteers, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed amendments closely follow the VISTA 2000 citizen <br />recommendations adopted by the City in 1993 and the comprehensive plan adopted in 1994, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since the 1994 adoption the Planning Commission annually has held public <br />hearings on the issues within these amendments, and <br /> <br />WHERES, THE Planning Commission and City Council have invited comment and <br />provided legal notice to affected communities and property owners with 350 feet of an land <br />use map change, and <br />
