Apri] 17, 2013 <br />Item S.a.ii <br />Community Dialogues <br />Gary G will initially connect with Kevin Elm of the Skating Center to <br />determine that incidentals, such as coffee machine, two wireless <br />mikes, coat rack, and signage stands, will be available April 30r". Gary <br />encouraged Ariella to do a follow-up call with Kevin Elm (651/79z- <br />7122). <br />All ten Human Rights Commissioners will be asked to host the event. <br />i, e., mingle and greet attendees. <br />There will be a sign-in table just inside the door for nametags and <br />sign-in for future HRC events, staffed by Mary Lou Mohn (Grefenberg <br />will contact) and the school teacher or councilor Megan reached a few <br />months ago (Megan to contact). <br />It was suggested that some music be played during the light supper. <br />Ariella agreed to bring her iPod with such music (this music will include <br />world music, e.g., from Africa). <br />Carolyn Curti and Ariella Tilsen will be the leads on Event Logistics, <br />Carolyn focusing on food and Ariella on room set up and equipment. <br />4) Press & Media: Megan and Gary in cooperation with Carolyn will take <br />the lead on this effort. <br />Megan explained her initial contact with Scott Anderson, editor of the <br />Roseville Patch. <br />Design Team reviewed the final draft of the event flyer. Kris Doneen <br />recommended that the flyer acknowledge the active participation of <br />the Roseville Police Department and the Roseville School District. All <br />present agreed with this revision. <br />5) Outreach & Networking: The importance of the School District's role <br />in this effort was noted. <br />HRC will ask the Youth Commissioners to put it on the Youth <br />Commissioners web page. Gary will ask city staff to put it on the <br />City's web site. <br />Everyone was encouraged to send the flyer to their own personal web <br />site.
