217 <br />Referencing collection, Member DeBenedet concurred that collection should be <br />218 <br />clean and quiet. <br />219 <br />220 <br />Of the three (3) major values, Member Felice suggested that the overall purpose <br />221 <br />and environmental benefits of the program for the community and residents <br />222 <br />should continue to be emphasized to encourage more participation. Member <br />223 <br />Felice also referenced the importance of education /outreach to new immigrants <br />224 <br />and residents of Roseville. <br />225 <br />use of the heavy trucks on City streets to be of significant importance, since it <br />226 <br />Member Gjerdingen advised that his initial ranking uld be similar to that of <br />227 <br />Member Felice with 60% for collection, 30% for ch, and 10% for <br />228 <br />environmental benefits. <br />229 <br />230 <br />Members then began their discussion and individual weighting for subcategories <br />231 <br />under each of the three (3) main cat es. <br />232 <br />233 <br />Collection <br />234 <br />Member DeBenedet opined that "clea quiet" hould be a requirement of the <br />235 <br />RFP requiring no specifi eighting. <br />236 <br />237 <br />Regarding "impact on str s "Member DeBene et advised that he considered the <br />238 <br />use of the heavy trucks on City streets to be of significant importance, since it <br />239 <br />ultimately cost residents money.
