The <br /> City is interested in purchasing the land currently utilized as baseball fields and additional land <br /> for parking for the ball field users. <br /> Specifically, the City is interested in purchasing 5.39 acres which is comprised of 4.39 acres of <br /> the actual ball fields and 1 additional acre for parking. For the purchase of this land, the City is <br /> prepared to offer $818,157. This price is based on recent appraisal authorized by the City. <br /> (Appraisal attached). <br /> The offer is based on the appraised value of the land calculated as follows: <br /> 4.39 acres - zoned Park and Open Space @ $120,729 per acre = $ 530,000.00 <br /> 1.00 acre—zoned High Density Residential @ 278,157 per acre = $278,157.00 <br /> TOTAL $818,157.00 <br /> Please let the City know at your earliest convenience on whether this offer is acceptable.
