Holt, Diedrickand <br />staffwill facilitate a discussion at your meeting. <br />Requested Commission Action: <br />Discuss, provideinput and guidance. <br />Park Board Discussion <br />5. <br />This item is a result of guidance in the Parks and Recreation System Master Plan andthe City <br />Council Work Plan. Yourecently identified an approach and timeline to research, analyze and <br />bring a further discussion to the City Council. Commissioners Simbeck and Wallagreed to be part <br />of a task force with staff to gather and bring back information to the Commission for further <br />discussion and input. <br />In your packet is the outlinefrom your April and May discussions. This report will be included with <br />th <br />materials for the June 10joint meetingwith the City Council. Thanksto Commissioners Simbeck <br />and Wall for their work. <br />Requested Commission Action: <br />Review, discuss and finalize report for joint meeting with the <br />City Council. <br />Prepare for Joint City Council/Commission Meeting <br />6. <br />Your June meeting and the annual joint meeting of the City Council and the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the City Council regular meeting. It will be <br />the first presentation item on the agenda beginning at around 6:15 or 6:30 p.m. for 40 minutes. It <br />is important that there be full attendance. This is your meeting with the City Council to discuss <br />areas of importance to you and to gather input and guidance from them. <br />To prepare, included in your packet is: your work goals, a draft memo outlining the highlights of <br />the work of the Commission over the last year and areas the Commission sees working on over <br />the next year.If you are comfortable, these documents are acticipated to be inlcuded in the City <br />Council packet. <br />Please mark your calendars for Monday, June 10, 2013. <br />Requested Commission Action <br />: Discuss and finalize memo to City Council and approach for <br />joint meeting. <br /> <br />
