As a preface to this exercise, it was noted that defining <br />a community focus for the park was difficult for the same reason <br />noted by residents. Responses included: <br /> <br />Component or activity <br />The parking lot should be moved from the neighborhood side of th <br />near Old Highway 8, or perhaps even removed from the park altoge <br />Tennis courts and basketball court should be retained, but the lshown nearer to <br />Old Highway 8 would be preferred. In the current location, they are too close to <br />neighbors, too tucked away, and too big for that area of the par <br />The skating rink should be retained; its hard to suggest elimin <br />its current condition doesnt encourage proper use. <br />People use the hockey rink and skating area.
