Attachment D <br />City of Roseville <br />ORDINANCE NO. ____ <br />1 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SELECTED TEXT OF TITLE 10 ZONING ORDINANCE <br />2 <br />OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />3 <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br />4 <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose: <br />The Roseville City Code is hereby amended to clarify structures that are <br />5 <br />afforded height exemptions in all zoning districts, which amendment is found in Section 1011.07 or the <br />6 <br />Roseville Zoning Ordinance. <br />7 <br />SECTION 2. Section 1011.07, Height Exemptions in all Districts is hereby amended as <br />8 <br />follows: <br />9 <br />A. The building and structure height limitations established for each zoning district shall apply <br />10 <br />however,structures and others <br />to all buildings and structures, except that the following <br />11 <br />that are determined by the Community Development Department to be consistent <br />12 <br />and/or similar to those listed, to the extent that they are permitted, <br /> shall be exempt <br />13 <br />from said height limitation: <br />14 <br />1.Church spires <br />15 <br />2.Belfries <br />16 <br />3.Cupolas and domes which do not contain usable space <br />17 <br />4.Monuments <br />18 <br />5.Water towers <br />19 <br />6.Fire and hose towers <br />20 <br />7.Observation towers <br />21 <br />8.Flagpoles <br />22 <br />9.Electrical transmission towers <br />23 <br />10.Chimneys <br />24 <br />11.Smokestacks <br />25 <br />12.Parapet walls extending not more than 3 feet above the limiting height of the building <br />26 <br />13.Cooling towers <br />27 <br />14.Grain elevators <br />28 <br />15.Elevator penthouses <br />29 <br />16.Industrial silos <br />30 <br />SECTION 5. Effective Date. <br />This ordinance amendment to the Roseville City Code shall take <br />31 <br />effect upon passage and publication. <br />32 <br />Passed this 20th day of May, 2013 <br />33 <br /> <br />
