5.07. Procedure for Unacceptable Recyclables <br />If Contractor determines that a resident has set out unacceptable <br />recyclables, the driver shall use the following procedures: <br />Curbside <br />Contractor shall leave the unacceptable recyclables and leave an <br />“education tag” indicating acceptable materials and the proper <br />Note: a copy of the tag is to be included <br />method of preparation ( <br />with the proposal <br />). <br />The driver shall record the address on forms acceptable to the City. <br />Contractor shall report the addresses to the City Recycling <br />Note: a copy of the form is to <br />Coordinator at the end of each month ( <br />be included with the proposal <br />). <br />Upon request, the City Recycling Coordinator will undertake efforts <br />to educate the resident or owner regarding proper materials <br />preparation. <br />Multiple FamilyDwellings <br />Contaminated carts of material will not be collected and a tag will be <br />left indicating the reason the material is unacceptable. The Contractor <br />shall also notify the City Recycling Coordinator by phone that the <br />material was left and the reason that the material was unacceptable. <br />It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain cooperation <br />from the building owner/manager in removal of trash and separation <br />of acceptable materials so that the carts can be serviced. <br />5.08 Collection Zones <br />By Ordinance the City of Roseville is divided into five zones, each <br />with its own day of the week for collection of refuse and recycling as <br />detailed in Exhibit A. The number of housing units in each collection <br />zone is detailed in Exhibit B. <br />5.09.Collection Hours <br />Contractor shall maintain sufficient equipment and personnel to <br />assure that all collection operations commence no earlier than 7 a.m. <br />and are completed by 6:00 p.m. on the scheduled collection day. <br />5.10.
