Attachment A <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />1 <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 17th day of June, 2013, at 6:00 <br />2 <br />p.m. <br />3 <br />4 <br />The following members were present: ; and and the following members were absent: <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />8 <br />9 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />10 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT NO. PW 2013-13: <br />11 <br />RAMSEY COUNTY COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br />12 <br />ROSEVILLE <br />13 <br />14 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br />15 <br />16 <br />WHEREAS, the County has determined that there is justification and it is in the public’s best <br />17 <br />interest to perform maintenance work on Larpenteur Avenue; and <br />18 <br />19 <br />WHEREAS, Larpenteur Avenue (CSAH 30) at the intersection of Fernwood Street is in the <br />20 <br />City’s of St. Paul and Roseville in Ramsey County; and <br />21 <br />22 <br />WHEREAS, 25% of the construction cost for intersection improvements including traffic <br />23 <br />control signals, pedestrian ramps, and emergency vehicle pre-emption at this intersection will be <br />24 <br />funded by Roseville Municipal State Aid funds (S.A.P 160-221-008) funds; and <br />25 <br />26 <br />WHEREAS, preliminary study reports indicate it is feasible, practical and technically proper to <br />27 <br />provide for the concrete rehabilitation, pedestrian ramps and updating of traffic signal systems; <br />28 <br />and the Plans have been presented to the City <br />29 <br />30 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the <br />31 <br />Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement. <br />32 <br />33 <br />The motion was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />34 <br />following voted in favor thereof: ; and and the following voted against: <br />35 <br />36 <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />37 <br /> <br />
