This does not conform with <br />City Code Chapter 703,Section 703.04 B4 Driveway and Parking Lot Standards(Intersection) <br />K. .Additional Required Information: <br />A. A written narrative, in support of a��ariance application, is necessary. 7�his narrati� e <br />should full�� explain the "hardship" that justifies the departure from the strict <br />application of the Code. The term "hardship" or "undue hardship" typicalh� refers to <br />physical characteristics of the property, such as shape, soil conditions, or extreme <br />topography. Neither mere inconvenience nor reduction in value is sufficient on its o�� n <br />to justify a variance, and the inability, to put property to its highest and best use is not <br />considered a hardship or practical difficult��. The problem that justifies the variance <br />must be caused by conditions beyond the control of the applicant. The applicant cannot <br />create the condition that requires the variance. <br />B.
