To identify how much right—of--way is <br />necessary,'�T^�*�;,=�if any. the COLLEGE will ^��* *^^°*"°r °�°�:.�;„°��� <br />�submit a concept, �eometric desi�n sketch for the segment of Lydia Avenue <br />located between Lincoln and Snelling as evaluated in the Study; a+�. The CITY <br />will use this to determine how much additional right- of- way to the north and <br />south of Lydia Avenue �e�mav be necessary. The �ea�concept design sl�ett}�} <br />will take into account left turn movements for both the Snelling intersection as <br />well as the Lincoln intersection. This will ensure that when the <br />assumed background improvements are implemented for the Lydia/ Snelling <br />intersection the C—i�CITY will have adequate right--of--way. Dedication of am% <br />additional ri�ht-of-wav will occur as part of approval of the first development <br />phase. The COLLEGE shall participate in the cost of the future Snelling/L} dia <br />intersection improvement project when it occurs. The cost�articipation shalf be <br />proportionate to the amount of traffic that is added to the public svstem as a result <br />ofthe campus eYpansion. The proportion will be based on new traffic added to <br />the public system in relationship to existin� and back�round traffic. <br />g. The COLLEGE shall partici�ate in the cost of a Snelling/ Countv Road C-2 <br />intersection improvement project when it occurs. The cost participation shall be <br />proportionate to the amount of traffic that is added to the public system as a result <br />ofthe campus expansion. The proportion will be based on new traffic added to <br />the public system in relationship to existing and background traffic. <br />h. The Ee�-egeCOLLEGE shall prepare a Travel Demand Management (TDM) <br />Plan, including trip reduction strategies, a schedule for implementation, and <br />procedures for evaluation and revisions. This plan shall be approved by the City <br />Engineer. The COLLEGE and the Citv Engineer shall determine whether the <br />TDM Plan needs to be updated prior to the issuance of building permits for each <br />phase of the development. These strategies will be evaluated to determine <br />reductions in the forecasted traffic. A trip reduction goal shall be identified as a <br />10 <br />
