Pat Trudgeon
From:
Sent:
To:
Cc:
Subject:
Alex,
J
Pat Trudgeon
Thursday, August 05, 2010 11:13 AM
'Alex Hall'
Jamie Radel; Thomas Paschke; Bryan Lloyd
Applewood Pointe of Langton Lake Plat
Some bad news about the plat approval for the project.
C
I took a look at the approvals of Applewood Pointe of Langton Lake development. On August
17, 2009, the City Council approved the preliminary plat and amended PUD agreement for the
phased project. Under our code, a final plat needs to be submitted to the City within 6
months after approval of the preliminary plat. In the this case, that means the final plat
should have been submitted to the City by February 17. As that date has passed, we would
need to consider the preliminary plat again (along with a public hearing). That would then
need to be followed up by final plat as well.
So I would suggest that we see how everything works out in relation to the TIF prior
restarting the plat approval process. (By the way, we would not need to redo the PUD
amendment agreement as that approval was contingent on the final plat being approved
recorded. By the way, the final plat needs to be recorded one-year after City Council
approval).
Let me know if you have any questions.
Pat
Patrick Trudgeon, AICP
City of Roseville
Community Development Director
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roeville, MN 55113
(651) 792-7071
(651) 792-7070 (fax)
pat.trudeon(ci.roseville.mn.us
www.ci.roseville.mn.us
1
to
and
