-
14 December 2007

Michael Schueller
19203 Layton Avenue North
Marine on St. Croix, MN 55047
RE: Extension of statutory action timeline
Dear Mr. Schueller,
G1
Minnesota Statute 15.99 requires that a City provide definitive action on land use requests (e.g.,
rezonings and conditional use permits) within 60 days of the submission of a complete
application; this statute also allows the City to extend the required action timeline once for up to
60 additional days. You applications pertaining to 1901 Lexington Avenue were received and .
considered complete on November 2, 2007, and the 60-day deadline for the City to approve or
deny your request is January 1, 2008.
Because of the business to which the City Council must attend before the end of 2007, however,
the Council will be unable to act on your application before January 1, 2008. For this reason, the
City of Roseville has extended the required action timeline for your application for an additional
60 days, ending on March 1, 2008. Happily, we aren't obligated to use the entire 60 days, and we
anticipate that the City Council will review your application and take action at its meeting of
January 14, 2008.
Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call me at 651-792-7073.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
Bryan Lloyd
Associate Planner
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2660 Civic Center Drive : Roseville, Minnesota 55113
651-792-7005 ❖ TDD 651-792-7399 :• www.ci.roseville.mn.us
