Most activity will take place during off-
peak hours.
5.2 The proposed interim use of the property for temporary off-street parking of vehicles and
bus transportation to the Fair Grounds will not have an impact on parks, streets and other
public facilities. Each site is required to have temporary bathroom facilities and there is
no need for use of public or private utilities. Bus pick-up far both proposed sites will be
internal to the premises, with buses entering the site and pick-up generally by the tent.
5.3 The proposed interim use of temporary off-street vehicle parking and bus transportation
to the Fair Grounds on the property is an appropriate use of the site and is a compatible
use with contiguous properties. Traffic volumes in the area will increase slightly during
the two-week period, but measures will be taken to keep the traffic on collector streets,
not local residential streets.
5.4 The proposed interim use of the property for temporary off-street parking of vehicles and
bus transportation to the Fair Grounds will not have an adverse impact on the market
value of contiguous properties.
PF07-017_RCA_052107.doc Page 3 of 3
