Attachment I <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18t" day of June, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. <br />T�he following members were present: <br />and the llowing were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING AN INTERIM USE PERMIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />§1012.09 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR ROBERT DELEO AT 280 <br />MINNESOTA AVENUE (PF07-024) <br />WHEREAS, Robert DeLeo, is the owner of property at 280 Minnesota Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: <br />MICHEL'S REARRANGEMENT OF LOTS 9 THROUGH 16, INCLUSIVE, MACKUBIN <br />& IGLEHART ADDITION OF OUT LOTS T, SUBJECT TO EASEMENTS, THE WEST <br />100 FEET OF THE NORTH 227 FEET OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE WEST 1/2 OF LOT 4 <br />PIN: 12-29-23-43-0003 <br />WHEREAS, the properiy owner seeks permission for using a motor home as temporary <br />living quarters on property zoned R-1, Single-Family Residence District; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed temparary residence is not a permitted use in the R-1 District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS § 1012.09 of the City Code allows the approval of INTERIM USE PERMITS <br />for temporary uses that are inconsistent with the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan <br />but does not require the approval of such applications; and <br />WHEREAS officials in the Roseville Police Department and the Building Division and <br />Planning Division of the Community Development Department all have substantial concerns <br />about such prohibited uses including: <br />1. Preservation of a healthy, sanitary living environment; <br />2. Reduced safety and security of motor homes or campers compared to permanent <br />residential structures; <br />3.
