��� Z <br />RFQCF.ST FOR COliNCIL ACTION DATE: 6-26-89 <br />ITEM NO. : � ` � <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />� � Hearings <br />�✓ <br />Item Description: Richard Stranik request for rezoning from S-C <br />to B-3, special use permit for a automobile <br />repair shoF, ar.d variances to parking <br />standards at 2168 Snelling Avenue. <br />The Roseville Planning Commission, at its June 7, 1989 meeting, <br />unania,ously recommended approval of rezoning the site at 2168 <br />Snelling Avenue from S-C to B-3. The Planning Commission also <br />unanimously recommended approval of a special use permit for an <br />automobile repair shop and variances to have 18 parking spaces <br />instead of 31 spaces, to have parking lot setbacks of 5 feet on the <br />south, 2 feet on the north and 0 feet on the e�_st, and a variance to <br />sign setback requirements to locate a sign 7-1/2 feet instead of 30 <br />feet from the west property line with the following conditions: <br />1. That the site be developed in accordance with the plans <br />submitted and dated 4-27-89. <br />2. That the periphery of all parking areas will be constructed <br />with poured in place curb. <br />3. That final engineering and landscape plans will be subject to <br />staff review and approval. <br />4. That the building will be constructed entirely of brick with <br />white facia panels (no yellow). <br />5. That final signage plans for the build9nq and pylon wi?1 be <br />�ui,;ect to staff review and appro��al. <br />6. That a no left tiirn sign be installed at the east curb cut <br />ontc� County Road B. <br />7. '1'nat ��lewalk be provided along County Road B. <br />COUNCIL ACTIJN REQUESTED: Motion to approve/deny Richard Stranik's <br />request for rezoning from S-C to B-3, <br />special use permit for an automobile <br />repair shop and variances to parking <br />standards and sign ser.back stsndards at <br />21G8 Snelling Avenue with the <br />aforementioned conditions if so desired. <br />
