A variety of variances proposed suggests and confirrns [hat the site is <br />very tir�ht and would be difficult [o use to promote any use. We have <br />particular concern about the narki�g, uu[ if the appliaant can suggest <br />[hrough tfie preseiitation of its parking experience at other tocations <br />[hat the parking is adequate, this may be a solvable problem. Perhaps <br />no development can occur on this site and meet all the design and <br />zoning criteria. Our challenge may be one of seeking some reasonable <br />use that can utilize the property for a period of time, perhaps from <br />ten [o fifteen years �t which tirne it may be ap�ropria[e to redevelop <br />the entire corner. <br />ll. This brings up the possibility �f issuiny a special use permit with a <br />[ime limitati�� so that at a point in time the site may be redeveloped <br />wi[hout paying ful� value for the structure under consideration. This <br />approach may well be discussed with the applicant at the hearings <br />before the P13nning Commission and Council in an attemp[ to seek a <br />reasonal�le solution for the in[erim use of the land pending the long <br />range redevelopmen[ of all three properties. <br />12.
