• <br />City of Roseville <br />VARIANCE BOARD <br />� <br />CONDUCT OF A PUBLIC MEETING <br />1.Ca11 Meeting to Order. 5: pm <br />Chair states.... "The MONTH, DAY, YEAR regular meeting of the City of Roseville <br />Variance Board is hereby called to order." <br />Chair explains that... <br />"The Variance Board is composed of three standing members and two alternates from the <br />Planning Commission as annually designated by the City Council. The Board meets, when <br />necessary, on the first Wednesday of each month beginning at 5:00 or 5:30pm prior to the <br />Planning Commission meeting in the City Hall, Council Chambers. The Board's role is to <br />provide specific review and definitive action on all land use variances submitted to the City <br />for action, thereby allowing for more efficient use of the Planning Commission and City <br />Council meetings. The Board is responsible for holding all the public hearings for variance <br />requests. <br />The Board values meeting conduct which is polite and respectful of individuals and their <br />thoughts." <br />2. Roll Call and Introductions: Chair asks Com. Dev. Director/Clerk to call the roll. <br />As the members names are announced, they state, "here". <br />Chair introduces: 1) elected officials and, 2) staff in attendance. <br />3. Minutes of last meeting. Accept a motion to approve with any changes noted ... <br />4. Commu�ications from the Public: Chair asks if there are communications from <br />the public which are not on the agenda. <br />5. Consent Agenda: Are there any items that need only a motion (no discussion <br />needed)? Accept a motion to ... or acknowledge that there are no consent items. <br />
