• <br />• <br />WHEREAS, the Hornbakers seek to install an 8-foot-tall fence along their side <br />property line, extending into the front yard; this requires a 4-foot height variance for the <br />section of tence extending west of the westernmost building line of the principal structure <br />and a 1.5-foot height variance for the remainder of the fence; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships'' are present and <br />support can be given to deviate fram the strict requirernents of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 4-foot VARIANCE to Section 1012.02B(2), and a 1.5-foot VARIANCE to <br />Section 1012.02B(3) of the City code, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The western end of the fence must not extend further toward the western <br />property line than indicated on the site plan reviewed as part of the <br />application. <br />2. The ``finished" or "good" side of the fence must face the neighbaring property, <br />consistent with § 1012.02C (Fences) of the City Code, in anticipation of the <br />potential removal of the existing fence in the future. <br />3. Pursuant to § 1013.03 of the City Code, the VARIANCE shall expire 6 months <br />after the approval date if a fence permit is not issued. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Member Boerigter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Members Boerigter, Doherty, and Martinson <br />And none voted against; <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Paee 2 of 3 <br />
