Off-Street Parking: Off-street parking requirements shall be as listed in <br />Section 1018, and in addition: <br />Where a twenty four (24) hour use is within three hundred feet (300) of a <br />residential district, that portion of the site within 300 feet shall provide screening <br />of parking and driving areas adjacent to residential areas. The screening, which <br />must have a minimum opacity of ninety percent (90%) year-round and a minimum <br />height of six feet (6), may be provided by landscaping, walls, fences, berms, or <br />combinations thereof. <br />2. Service delivery or non-customer vehicles shall not be parked or staged within <br />three hundred feet (300) of a residential district, except when actively loading or <br />unloading. <br />3. In no case shall vehicle staging for unloading occur for more than twenry four <br />(2=�) hours on a site within any SC district. <br />The Planning Division has determined that the above requirements do not apply to <br />the subject proposal. <br />6.21 § 1006.OSF (Off-Street Loading) states: Off-street loading shall be as listed in subsection <br />1005. Ol F of this title and servicing space shall be designated for each store unit in the <br />shopping district. Such loading space shall be designed so as not to conflict with <br />movement of vehicular traffic to and from parking areas. <br />1. Any commercial loading dock within three hundred feet (300) of a residential <br />district shall be completely screened by a wall, landscaped berm, fence, or <br />combination thereof from an adjacent residential area, from a point fourteen feet <br />(l;l') above the ground at the loading area to a point five feet (S) above the first <br />floor (main level) of adjacent residences. <br />2. Any commercial loading dock within three hundred feet (300) of a residential <br />district which is to be used for any reason by vehicles or equipment between the <br />hours of ten o'clock (10: 00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7: 00) A.M. shall be within a <br />completely enclosed and roofed structure. All loading, and unloading, operations <br />shall occur with the exterior doors shut at all times. <br />The Planning Division has determined that the above requirements do not apply to <br />the subject proposal. <br />6.22 § 1006.OSG (Maintenance Activities) states: Movement of sweeping vehicles, garbage <br />trucks, maintenance trucks, shopping carts, and other service vehicles and equipment is <br />prohibited within three hundred feet (300) of a residential district between the hours of <br />ten o'clock (10: 00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) A.M., exceptfor, emergency vehicles <br />and emergency utiliry or maintenance activities.
