1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />8.3 <br />•� --► <br />The Planning Commission discussed the proposal and specifically the westerly access to <br />County Road B and its future (partial) closure. <br />8.4 The Planning Commission voted (7-0) to recommend APPROVAL of the requested <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT for Har Mar Mall to redevelop the <br />Firestone site with a new outlot/structure adjacent to County Road B, based on the <br />comments in Section 6 and amended conditions of Section 7 of the project report dated <br />November 7, 2007 (see draft minutes). <br />9.0 NEWLY SUBMITTED TRAFFIC INFORMATION: <br />9.1 During the week of November 19 — 23, the City Council received a letter from Jamie <br />Swanson, Emmes Realty and a memorandum from James Benshoof, Wenck, regarding <br />additional information pertaining to the westerly ingress/egress along County Road B and <br />City Staff's recommendation to close the egress. <br />9.2 The City Engineer and City's traffic consultant (SRF) has reviewed the supplemental <br />information provided and conclude that the presence of the exiting right out, traveling <br />eastward, will cause continued weaving issues and increased illegal traffic movements at <br />the County Road B/Har Mar signalized intersection. Therefore the City Engineer <br />recommendation to at a minimum eliminate the eastbound exiting movement stands. The <br />SRF memo regarding this issue is attached. <br />10.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br />10.1 ADOPT a RESOLUTION APPROVING the requested PLANNED LJNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT for Har Mar Mall to redevelop the Firestone site with <br />a new outlot/structure adjacent to County Road B, based on the comments in Section 6 <br />and amended conditions of Section 7 of the project report dated January 28, 2008. <br />10.2 BY MOTION APPROVE the HAR MAR MALL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke, City Planner (651-792-7074). <br />PF07-053 RCA 012808.doc Page 13 of 13 <br />
