''� <br />'� <br />1 Because the new structure will be 300 feet or less from the east property line <br />2 (residential district boundary), the proposed uses will be required to comply with <br />3 the requirement. <br />4 <br />5 6.22 § 1006.OSH (Equipment Restrictions) states: All ground-mounted or roof-mounted <br />6 equipment, automatic doors, speaker systems, gas pumps, car washes, vehicle vacuum <br />7 cleaners, air hoses, or other noise sources within three hundred feet (300) of a <br />8 residential area must be completely screened to a point five feet (S) above the first floor <br />9 of adjacent residences. Outdoor speaker systems or other public address systems which <br />10 can be heard outside are not allowed to be used between the hours of ten o'clock (10: 00) <br />11 P.M. and seven o'clock (7: 00) A.M. within three hundred feet (300) of a residential <br />12 district, even if screened. <br />13 <br />14 Because the new structure will be 300 feet or less from the east property line <br />15 (residential district boundary), the proposed uses will be required to comply with <br />16 the requirement. <br />17 <br />18 6.23 § 1006.OSI (Lighting) states: The height of light poles and fixtures shall comply with <br />19 subsection 1010.12 of this title, and shall not exceed a height of twelve feet (12) if <br />20 located closer than fifry feet (50) to a residential properry line, nor a height of trventy ftve <br />21 feet (25) if located between fifry feet (50 ) and one hundred feet (100) of a residential <br />22 property line. The light shall be no more than 0. S foot candles at the property line. (See <br />23 Chapter 1011 for light requirements.) Light poles or fixtures may be a maximum of forty <br />24 feet (40) tall if located greater than one hundred feet (100) from a residential properry <br />25 line and if completely screened (light source and light source glare) by building, berm, or <br />26 landscape material with a minimum opaciry of ninery percent (90%) to eye level view of <br />27 living spaces in homes within three hundred feet (300) of light source. All lights not <br />28 reasonably required for securiry or business operations must be turned off between the <br />29 hours of ten o'clock (10: 00) P.M. and sunrise, or operated by motion detectors so that <br />30 they only turn on when there is activity nearby and turn off shortly thereafter. <br />31 <br />32 Although the submitted plans include a photometric plan, it appears to be one based <br />33 on existing standards. The Planning Division will require the submittal of a <br />34 photometric plan based on the revised plan that includes pole standards that meet <br />35 the above requirements. <br />36 <br />3 7 6.24 <br />38 <br />39 <br />§ 1006.OSJ (Other Requirements) states: <br />1. Certain Businesses In Shopping Center Districts To Be Enclosed.• All business, <br />40 storage, service, repair or processing, recycling, box and crate storage or <br />41 merchandise display shall be conducted wholly within an enclosed building or <br />42 behind a solid fence not less than six feet (6) high except as allowed in subsection <br />43 1005.
