8 June 2007
Jerrold Zack
2127 Cohansey Boulevard
Roseville, MN 55113
1

RE: Conditional Use Permit Application
Dear Mr. Zack,
•
The Community Development Department has received your Conditional Use Permit application
and has found it to be nearly complete. The only item that may still be lacking is the payment of
the $250 Conditional Use Permit application fee. To avoid losing track of fee payments, they are
deposited as soon as they are received, and the receipts are kept with the application materials as
a record of payment. Occasionally, though, these receipts are inadvertently not prepared; this
may be the case with your application. If you have, in fact, submitted a check that the City has
cashed, please send me a copy of some form of proof of payment that I can attach to your
application materials. If you haven't yet paid the application fee, please send a check (payable to
City of Roseville) to my attention at the address on the bottom of this page; payment may also be
made with cash, check, or credit card in person at City Hall.
Your request will be heard by the Planning Commission at its meeting of July 11, 2007 and,
subsequently, at the City Council meeting of July 23, 2007. At your convenience, please call me
to make arrangements to pick up a"Notice Land Use Application" sign which must be posted
along the street in front of your house at least 10 days prior to the date of the public hearing.
Minnesota state laws require the City Council to approve or deny your request within 60 days of
the date of your application, but State Statutes do allow the City to extend this period once, by up
to 60 days, if more time is needed. Since your application was received on May 15, 2007, the
initial 60-day period will expire on July 13, 2007. Because of the timing of your application and
the necessary public meetings, however, the City Council cannot provide a decision until their
meeting of July 23, 2007, which is more than 60 days from the date of your application; far this
reason, the City must extend the review and approval period. Although a final approval or denial
cannot be rendered by the original July 13, 2007 deadline, our intent is to provide a final decision
on your application at the City Council meeting of July 23, 2007.
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call me at 651-792-7073
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
Bryan Lloyd
Associate Planner
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2660 Civic Center Drive •: Roseville, Minnesota 55113
651-792-7005 :• TDD 651-792-7399 : www.ci.roseville.mn.us
