Below is an explanation of what happens with FMCA. ]t will seem Iong-winded, bu[ this gives you an idea of our intentions and our needs for the signage. One of the Ihings we don't want to happen is to have family coaches lost and wandering around creating confusion. The Family Motor Coach Association is holding iis 80th Intemational Convention at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds July 14, 15, 16, 17. This Convention will bring approxima[ely 3000 families in their motor homes and approximately S00 new display mo[or homes to the fairgrounds. As you can see, there will be a lot of vehicle traffic in the Saint Paul and Roseville area during this period; although most of the travel on your roads will take place from July 12th through the 13th and then again when the units are leaving on 7uly 17th and 18`h. Our Firm has been handling the Annual FMCA Convention since 1971 and for the ]ast 37 years, the Association has been holding two conventions per year. The various convention sites include Los Angles, Tampa, Albuqueryue, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Brunswick, Maine and Las Cruces, NM along with Saint Paul back in 1983. In all oT these locations, FMCA has installed temporary highway directional signs to direct the various groups to their assigned facility entrances. We along with local La�v enforcement agencies, Ramsey Co. Sheriff. Saint Paul Police and the State Police have developed the enclosed routes to keep the various groups separate so they do not overlap or cross over each other.
