Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: June 25, 2013 <br />Item Description: Communication Items <br />Item No: 4 <br />Projects update- <br />* 2013 Pavement Management Mill and Overlay Project - The Contractor has been <br />making good progress on the work for this contract. At this time it is anticipated <br />that the work will be complete the first week of July. <br />o Storm Sewer Lining —The 73 inch pipe at B and Dale St is lined. Work on the <br />pipe in the intersection of County Road B -2 and Hamline Avenue will be <br />completed once we get a dry period. <br />0 2013 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project — The Contractor has completed nearly 6 <br />miles out of the 7 scheduled. There is approximately one mile to complete yet <br />with the majority of which will be night work. This is scheduled for July. <br />o Waterman lining project— Staff is working with 3M on final warranty details. <br />o County Road D Reconstruction — Neel Gas is working on replacing their main on <br />the south side of the road. Work is scheduled to begin in early July <br />o Villa Park Sediment Removal Project— Work has started on sediment removal in <br />the most southerly cell of the treatment system. This project will be going on for <br />most of the summer. <br />• Neel Gas Main Replacement Project- This project has begun with work at County <br />Road B proceeding south. Work will continue to proceed south along Rice St. <br />with restoration completion in early September. A temporary trail was constructed <br />on the Maplewood side for pedestrian traffic during construction. <br />• County Road B -2 Pathway Construction- Staff continues to work on plans for this <br />proj ect. <br />• Staff is also working on the following projects: <br />• Wheeler Avenue Traffic Management Project <br />• Utility Extension at 3040 Hamline Avenue <br />• McCarrons Lake Subwatershed Drainage Improvements <br />Maintenance Activity <br />• Street Division crews are busy patching deteriorated surface on several miles of <br />streets. Crews cleaned up tree debris after winds on June 15th and 16u. <br />• Hydrant flushing and inspection is nearly complete and annual sewer maintenance <br />is underway. <br />Annual seal coating of streets was completed in mid June. <br />Attachments: <br />A.
