<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVlLLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 14th day oflune, 1999 at 6:30 p.m.. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Wall <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Goedeke, Wiski <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9657 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVlLLE <br />ESTABLISHING A COMMITMENT BY THE CITY <br />TO ADOPT INTERIM STANDARDS AND TO ADOPT AND ADMINISTER . <br />AMENDMENTSTOTHECITrSLANDUSECONTROLANDSURFACEWATE~ <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN TO ADDRESS THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL'S <br />INTERIM STRATEGY TO REDUCE NONPOINT POLLUTION TO ALL <br />METROPOLITAN BODIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville Comprehensive Plan was approved by the <br />Roseville City Council on September 12, 1994 and amended on December 14,1998 <br />subject to review and approval by the Metropolitan Council; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS. in a letter dated December 18.1996, the Metropolitan Council <br />stated that the City of Roseville met the Metropolitan Council's Interim Strategy to <br />reduce nonpoint pollution; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City of Roseville request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />was received by the Metropolitan Council on December 30. 1998. and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. in a letter dated February 5. 1999. the City was informed by the <br />Metropolitan Council that its application for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />review is incomplete because it does not include information indicating that the CitY <br />has adopted the Metropolitan Council's Interim Strategy to Reduce Nonpoint Pollution <br />To All Metropolitan Water Bodies; and. . <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the Roseville City Council has been informed of the requirements <br />set forth in the Metropolitan Council's Interim Strateu:v To Reduce Nonpoint Pollution <br />To All Metropolitan Water Bodies. and recognizes that the City's stormwater plan must <br />be amended to address the measures established by the strategy to gain approval of the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan Amendment by the Metropolitan Council. and <br />
