Thank you for calling this to my attention.
As, you and I discussed today, Meritex and our demolition contractor Veit, prepared a recycling plan to
recapture much of the concrete demolition material rather than haul it to a landfill. A component of the
recycling plan was to sell the material at competitive price. We calculated that aggressive pricing along
with the federal stimulus would create a quick disposition of the material this spring. As you have noticed
the pace of pile reduction is not up to our expectations.
Further, we discussed plans to substantially reduce the pile during the 2010 construction season. These
plans include a recent contract to move 15% of the pile to a job site in July. Also, you mentioned a Twin
Lakes project that could require some of the aggregate in August. This in addition to increased sales effort
should reduce or eliminate the pile during the season. We agreed to review the situation with you at the
end of August.
Thanks for your consideration. I hope to have nothing to discuss in August, But if we do then or in the
meantime please do not hesitate to call.
Best Regards,
Steve Dorff
1 l*EiTEX'
 Steve Dorff PH. 651-855-9672
Asset Manager Cell. 612-685-0168
24 University Avenue N.E.
