REQUEST FOR CIT'Y COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 02/27/O6 <br />ITEM NO: 3,j <br />Department Approval: City Manager Approval: Agenda Section: <br />TP/DPW `i� j��%(,Q� CONSENT <br />Item Descriprion: Request by Rose Hill Alliance Church, 2105 Roselawn Avenue, for a <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT in accordance with Secrion 1004.015 <br />and Secrion 1013.01 of the Roseville City Code (PF3705). <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br />1.1 Rose Hill Alliance Church seeks approval of a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT to allow <br />the construction of two additions - a handicapped accessible entry of 2,025 sq. ft. and an <br />office/classroom/library addition of 1,825 sq. ft. — totaling 4,012 sq. ft. and limited site <br />improvements including modified parking and landscaping. <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br />• Application Submitted: 01106/06 <br />• Application Determined Complete: O1/17/06. <br />• 60-Day Review Deadline: 03/07/06. <br />• Project Report Recommendation: 02/O1/06. <br />• Planning Commission Action: (6-0) Approval Recommendation, 02/O l/06 <br />• Anticipated City Council Action: 02/27/06. <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />2.1 On February 1, 2006, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing <br />regarding the Rose Hill Alliance Church request and voted (6-0) to recommend approval <br />a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT in accordance with Section 1013.01 allowing certain <br />improvements to the property located at 2105 Roselawn Avenue, subject to conditions. <br />The Public Works/Engineering and Community Development Departments concur with <br />the Planning Commission's recommendation. <br />3.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br />3.1 ADOPT a RESOLUTION APPROVING a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT in <br />accordance with Section 1013.01 of the Roseville City Code for Rose Hill Alliance <br />Church, 2105 Roselawn Avenue, subject to conditions (see Section 8 for detailed <br />action). <br />PF3705_ RCA_022706.doc Page 1 of 5 <br />
