EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 6`h day of December, 2006, at 5:00 <br />p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Boerigter and <br />Doherty. <br />Variance Board Member poherty introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 49 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1004 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY <br />CODE FOR PATRICIA MAYLONE, 699 BELMONT LANE (PF3798) <br />WHEREAS, the Ms. Maylone has requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residential <br />Districts) to allow a principal structure encroachment into the required front yard setback; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 699 Belmont Lane, and legally described as: <br />JAMES THIRD ADDITION LOT 16, BLOCK 10 <br />PIN: 14-29-23-11-0041 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1E of the City Code requires a 33-foot setback for principal <br />structures from the front property line at this address; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Maylone seeks to increase the amount of enclosed parking/storage and <br />living space by constructing a new attached garage and converting the existing garage into living <br />area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code if the <br />conditions identified below are met; <br />1 .� <br />
