City of Roseville ORDINANCE NO. ________1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SELECTED TEXT PERTAINING TO OUTDOOR STORAGE 2 INCHAPTERS 1001 (INTRODUCTION), 1005 (COMMERCIAL AND MIXED-USE 3 DISTRICTS), 1006 (EMPLOYMENT DIST RICTS), 1009 (PROCEDURES), AND 1011 4 (PROPERTY PERFORMANCESTANDARDS) OF TITLE 10 “ZONING CODE” OF THE 5 ROSEVILLECITY CODE 6 THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS:7 SECTION 1. Purpose: The Roseville City Code is hereby amended to improve outdoor storage 8 regulations by amending the definition and revising how and where outdoor storage is allowed. 9 SECTION 2. Chapter1001is hereby amended as follows:10 City Code §1001.10 (Definitions) 11 Outdoor storage , equipment and goods :Permanent storage of goods, materials, equipment (e.g., 12 household lawn/garden implements,larger construction equipment,trailers, etc.),or fleet or 13 service vehicles finished goods on pallets, bundles, or other packaging ready for sale or 14 distribution outside of an enclosed building.Off-street parking of customer or employee vehicles is 15 not considered “outdoor storage.”16 Outdoor storage, fleet vehicles: Permanent storage ou tside of an enclosed building of motor vehicles 17 ranging in size from passenger cars to commercial trucks, fleet vehicles are defined as being in 18 active use by a rental agency, dispatch service, or other similar transportation service.19 Inoperable vehicles in need of repairor vehicles which are stored for seasonal use (e.g., snow 20 plows in summer months) are defined and regulated as inoperable/out ofservicevehicles or 21 equipment. 22 Outdoor storage, inoperable/outofservicevehicles or equipment: Permanent storage outside of an 23 enclosed building of vehiclesorequipmentwhichareinoperable or unusedformorethan 72 24 hours. 25 Outdoor storage, materials: Permanent storage outs ide of an enclosed building gravel, rock, mulch, 26 sand, salt, or other loose material stored in piles orbins.27 $WWDFKPHQW% 3DJHRI
