EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day of June, 2006, at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Members Boerigter and Doherty and Alternate <br />Member Roe <br />Variance Board Member poherty introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 43 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1104 OF THE OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR MATTHEW MARSHALL,1505 LYDIA AVENUE <br />(PF3762) <br />WHEREAS, Matthew Marshall has requested a VARIANCE to § 1004 (Residential <br />Districts) to allow the construction of a living area addition on to the home which will encroach <br />into the required rear yard setback, and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1505 Lydia Avenue, and legally described as: <br />LOT 9, BLOCK 11, ROSEVILLE TERRACE PLAT 5 <br />PID 03-29-23-23-0008 <br />WHEREAS, the City Code defines the rear yard as being adjacent to the property line <br />opposite the street on which a property is addressed, making the northern property line the rear <br />lot line; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 requires a minimum rear yard setback of 30 feet for <br />principal structures; and <br />WHEREAS, Matthew Marshall seeks to improve his property such that a living area <br />addition would encroach 16 feet into the required rear yard setback; and <br />1 -�� <br />
