I've
attached a PDF file of the Setback Permit application; you'll see that one of the items that's supposed to accompany the
application is a narrative. This narrative give you the opportunity to describe the hardship that would burden you if the City didn't
allow this variance from the Code requirements. Because the Setback Permit is a variance (albeit an administrative one), it's
important that you demonstrate this hardship. To that end, please complete the application form, write up a brief narrative, and
bring (or mail) them to me with your payment of the application fee (payable to City of Roseville) as soon as possible--preferably
before Thursday's hearing. Normally I would've received all of these application materials prior to scheduling a hearing, but the
normal process was a little thrown off by your desire to get started this month and my absence from the office last week; but
otherwise, we're on track from my perspective.
Bryan
From: david [mailto:david@bridgenetech.net]
Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2006 10:17 AM
To: Bryan Lloyd
Subject: 1756 Chatsworth Street
Bryan,
Thank you for all of your assistance. After we spoke I figured you probably just need a brief description of what is
going to take place. See you this afternoon.
Let me know if you need any further description:
Accarding to the City of Roseville guidelines a garage must be a minimum distance of six feet from the house and five
feet from the property line. I would like to build a 24' x 36' garage that is place in same location as the current garage.
In order to do this and maintain the required distance from the house I will have to build the garage approximately two
feet beyond the minimum five foot property line requirement. The garage will be place in a manner that aligns the front
of the garage with the front of the house where the front door is located. The garage will then extend approximately two
feet beyond the back of the house. In addition to the new garage there will be significant improvements done to the
house and landscaping.
David F Battisto
President
BridgeNet Technologies, LLC
Direct - 651.379.9333
Office - 651.221.0112
Fax - 651.221.0272
10/10/2006
