ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City of Roseville (`�Cit�') and David Booms and Lisa Booms �"B°°�s"i regarding the property located at 300 South McCarrons Boulevard, in the City of Roseville. VVHEREAS, the City's road reconst ac ! fromlthec oad right of-Way ated if the Booms garsge is raonstructed at a locat�on set b W��REpS, the parties desire to ent�r into this agreement whereby tfie relocation of the garage may be accomplished and the cost of construction will be financed through a special assessment. NOW, T'HEREFORE, it is hereby agreed by and between the parties as follovvs: ]. The existing garage on the Booms' property will be removed and disposed ot b}� the City's contractor as part of a road reconstruction public improvement project, P-97-03, the total cost of which removal a�dad�e an l vespass necessary� for� he By signing this agreement the Booms v�r Y contractor to complete the removal of the existing garage. 2. The City's contractor will remove trees, excavate and prepare the ground at a mutually agreeable location on the Booms' properry, sufficient to accommodate the new garage, the total cost of which tree removal and ground preparation work shall not exceed $1,050.00. 3. The City's contractor will relocate the existing water service for the residence to a location which will not conflict with the proposed garage. The cost of rclocating the water service shall not exceed 5750.00. 4. The City's contractor will relocate the existin8 sewer service for the residence to a loc,ation which will nat cor�licc �"+�� Proposed garage• The cost of relocating the sev�rer service sha11 not exceed 5850.00. 5. Both parties understand that the work performed by the City's contractor may have an adverse effect on the existing stairs leading from the residence to the existing garage• T1�e City's contractor will use caution when working near the stairs, but the City and its contractor shall not be held liable for any damage to the stairs resulting from the work to be performed.
