ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City of Roseville <br />(`�Cit�') and David Booms and Lisa Booms �"B°°�s"i regarding the property located at 300 <br />South McCarrons Boulevard, in the City of Roseville. <br />WI�REpS, the Booms ovm the property located at 300 South McCarrons Boulevard <br />in the City of Roseville, and have an existin8 Barage located immediately adjacent to the road <br />right-of-wsy. <br />VV�REAS, the City will be repaving South McCarrons Boulevard as Part of a public <br />improvement project. <br />VVHEREAS, the City's road reconst ac ! fromlthec oad right of-Way ated if the Booms <br />garsge is raonstructed at a locat�on set b <br />W��REpS, the parties desire to ent�r into this agreement whereby tfie relocation of the <br />garage may be accomplished and the cost of construction will be financed through a special <br />assessment. <br />NOW, T'HEREFORE, it is hereby agreed by and between the parties as follovvs: <br />]. The existing garage on the Booms' property will be removed and disposed ot b}� <br />the City's contractor as part of a road reconstruction public improvement project, <br />P-97-03, the total cost of which removal a�dad�e an l vespass necessary� for� he <br />By signing this agreement the Booms v�r Y <br />contractor to complete the removal of the existing garage. <br />2. The City's contractor will remove trees, excavate and prepare the ground at a <br />mutually agreeable location on the Booms' properry, sufficient to accommodate <br />the new garage, the total cost of which tree removal and ground preparation work <br />shall not exceed $1,050.00. <br />3. The City's contractor will relocate the existing water service for the residence to <br />a location which will not conflict with the proposed garage. The cost of rclocating <br />the water service shall not exceed 5750.00. <br />4. The City's contractor will relocate the existin8 sewer service for the residence to <br />a loc,ation which will nat cor�licc �"+�� � Proposed garage• The cost of relocating <br />the sev�rer service sha11 not exceed 5850.00. <br />5. Both parties understand that the work performed by the City's contractor may <br />have an adverse effect on the existing stairs leading from the residence to the <br />existing garage• T1�e City's contractor will use caution when working near the <br />stairs, but the City and its contractor shall not be held liable for any damage to the <br />stairs resulting from the work to be performed. <br />
