Although I did indicate the Planning Division <br />would reply within a week, we were unable to adequately consider your and other submitted <br />requests in a timely fashion due to current work levels. That said, I have completed a review of <br />your request and discussed your application with member of the Planning Division and have the <br />following comments: <br />Your application has been deemed complete and tentatively scheduled for consideration <br />by the Roseville Variance Board on July l, 2009. You should be receiving notice of the <br />meeting via a mailed postcard in the coming weeks and we will mail out a copy of the <br />report to your attention no later than June 26. <br />Variances are required to meet or achieve a hardship test that relies of unique <br />circumstances or other limiting factors. In review of the existing porch and the <br />replacement sought (additional four feet closer to shoreline), the Planning Division has <br />determined that the porch's current configuration, design and age are limiting factors in <br />your ability to efficiently and cost effectively replace the structure.
