'� � <br />AIRLAKE <br />DEVELOPMENI <br />November 19, 2009 <br />Mr. Thomas Paschke <br />City Planner <br />City of Roseville <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />RE: Boater's Outlet Interim Use Permit Application <br />Dear Thomas, <br />On behalf of Reco Real Estate, LLC and Boater's Outlet, I respectfully submit the enclosed Interim Use <br />application and withdraw my Conditional Use application for 1705 County Road C. <br />It is my understanding that at the October 26, 2009 City Council meeting, the Council expressed concern <br />over the permanent nature of the proposed Conditional Use application. After working with Planning <br />Department staff, I believe we have come to an agreement that the Interim Use Permit, allowing <br />seasonal outside storage of boats, would be an acceptable tool for ensuring the concerns of the city <br />constituents, property owner, and tenant are addressed. My understanding is that the Interim Use <br />Permit, once approved, will expire in five years. If at the time of expiration, the existing use since 2004 <br />is still a requirement for Boater's Outlet to successfully operate their business, we will be required to <br />apply for an extension. <br />During the initial term of the proposed Interim Use Permit period, Boater's Outlet and Reco Real Estate <br />will make every effort to remain in compliance with the resolutions set forth in the original permit <br />adopted in November 2004. <br />Thank you for your time and efforts in working with us to bring this process to a close. <br />Regards, <br />i- <br />Daniel O.
