In addition, I was wondering how
the Planning Commission's recommendation and rationale will be communicated at the City
Council meeting, and if T4C will be provided an opportunity to speak at the City Council
meeting. Finally, if you and/or Thomas have an open time slot on Friday this week, I was
wondering if we could pencil it in and I could stop by to have a brief ineeting i case we
have some further questions on the revised staff report.
Thanks,
Ron
Pl.ease note that my email address has changed to ron.wong@delta.com
Ronald Wong
Manager, Interiors Engineering
Cabin Electrical/IFE
Delta Air Lines
PFione: 612-726-3424 Cell: 612-387-9039
Fax: 612-726-6844
-----Original Message-----
Fr•om: Bryan Lloyd [mailto:bryan.11oyd@ci.roseville.mn.us]
Sent: Tuesday, March 09, 2010 6:32 AM
To: Wong, Ron M
Subject: City Council meeting for T4C
Hi again, Ron.
It looks like we're still on pace to bring T4C's zoning amendment application to the City
Council on March 22nd. Since staff's analysis hasn't changed, we'll continue to be
recommending against a change to the zoning text; if the City Council is inclined to agree,
then it's possible that the application could be resolved (albeit through denial) at that
meeting. I'll plan to send you a copy of the revised staff report by March 17th; please
remind me if it looks like I've forgotten.
If, on the other hand, the City Council opts to support the recommendation of the Planning
Commission and approve a zoning text change, the overall process might take longer. If the
Comprehensive Plan's description of Regional Business land uses is found to not include
institutional uses, then T4C's rezoning application may have to be put on hold while the text
of the Comprehensive Plan is amended. We aren't exactly sure yet what this process would be,
but we can cross that bridge (so to speak) if we come to it.
For now: onward!
Bryan Lloyd
Associate City Planner
City of Roseville
651-792-7073
bryan.11oyd@ci.roseville.mn.us
