Really need to know that.
Dog CPR? Can we get a demonstration?
Don
-----Original Message-----
From: Bryan Lloyd
Sent: Wednesday, September 29, 2010 8:00 AM
To: Bill Malinen; Dean Findell; Deb eloom; Don Munson; Duane Schwartz; Jamie Radel; Jeff
Evenson; John Loftus; Lonnie Brokke; Pat Trudgeon; Rick Mathwig; Thomas Paschke
Subject: The Woof Room
Hi gang.
During DRC discussions of the proposed dog daycare at 1430 County Road C, it seemed that none
of us had any real experience with dog daycares and so there was pretty significant concern
regarding the potential for barking dogs to become a noise nuisance. I asked the applicant
for more information on the subject and she prepared the attached document. My report-writing
time is getting tight, so please have a look at the attachment and let me know if you have
any thoughts about it as soon as you can.
For what it's worth, I have to say that I'm convinced. My personal opinion is that all of the
information points to a dog daycare/boarding use that should not be a noisy, smelly annoyance
to the residential neighbors. If we have actual experience and information to the contrary,
then I could recommend denying the application in good conscience. But I don't know how we
recommend denying the application if all we have is a hunch and a bad feeling about the
noise.
Ruff! (er... "thanks.")
Bryan Lloyd
Associate City Planner
City of Roseville
651-92-7073
bryan.11oyd@ci.roseville.mn.us
Confidentiality Statement: The documents accompanying this transmission contain confidential
information that is legally privileged.
