Our review has been based <br />upon the 2007 Minnesota State Building Code (MSBC) which has adopted with <br />amendments, the 2006 International Building Code (IBC). Except as noted below, the <br />construction documents for this project have been reviewed for substantial compliance <br />with requirements of the Minnesota State Building Code. <br />Architectural: <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />MSBC 1305.1019: Two exits are required, please identify on the plans. <br />IBC 1011.1: Please note illuminated exit signs will be required at each of the two <br />required exits. <br />IBC 1006.3: Please note that backup power will be required for illumination of <br />the means of egress system. <br />IBC 1006: Verify the landing on the exterior side of the doorway to the outdoor <br />dog pen will be illuminated. <br />Please identify if any ceiling finishes will be applied in the dog play areas. <br />IBC lOIBC 803: Please note that any wall finishes must have a maximum flame <br />spread of 200 and a maximum smoke development of 450. <br />Ventilation: <br />1. MSBC 1346: This tenant space has been altered from a storage occupancy to a <br />business occupancy; therefore ventilation of those altered spaces must be brought <br />into compliance with the Uniform Mechanical Code (with state amendments).
