102 Discussion included an explanation of the Twin Lakes Redevelopment Area <br />103 public improvements scheduled to begin the week of July 8, 2013; status of the <br />104 County Road B -2 Pathway Project and recent open house meetings with residents <br />105 to address drainage and preliminary plans, with the next step to present revised <br />106 plans based on those discussions at the July PWETC meeting, followed by <br />107 presentation to the Parks & Recreation Commission in August and the City <br />108 Council in September for this projected 2014 project, and including Victoria <br />109 Street as well; and approaching Ramsey County for submission of a request for <br />110 4their cost participation based on recent discussions held by County <br />111 Co missioners and their interest in enhancing pedestrian efforts throughout the <br />112 are . s. Bloom expressed hope that the state may be interested in sharing in <br />113 50% of the sidewalk costs; and seeking an amendment to their transportation plan <br />114 over the winter months to include their participation. Ms. Bloom advised that the <br />115 second meeting with affected residents along County Road B -2 held less <br />116 opposition than the first meeting; with main concerns drainage and the route; <br />117 estimating that approximately 60% of those residents were supportive, with the <br />118 remaining 40% in opposition, based unscientifically on her conversations with <br />119 residents at those informational meetings. Ms. Bloom advised that staff was <br />120 attempting to focus on individual issues, and anticipated receiving good feedback <br />121 from the PWETC at their July meeting. <br />122 <br />123 Mr. Schwartz advised that the PWETC, at their June meeting, had requested <br />124 mapping of stenciling during the stormwater presentation and discussion; and <br />Page 3 of 14 <br />
