Pit yo , -De ;I. <br />DIVISION R. ~ 8 <br />TERM 1//1 J99 - 11-/3 1/ ðC <br /> <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ROSEVlllE <br />FOR MICROSURFACING <br />DESIGN ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, by and between the City of Roseville and Washington County, a political <br />subdivision of the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Washington County and the City of Roseville desire to design, construct, and <br />maintain Microsurfacing efforts on Ramsey County Road C between Cleveland Avenue and <br />Lexington Avenue; on Roseville Fairview Avenue between County Road C and Oakcrest <br />Avenue; on Snelling Avenue between County Road C and Oakcrest Avenue; at Central Park <br />between Victoria Street and Dale Street; at Nature Center between Dale Street and Cohansey <br />Street. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Washington County project number for this project is SP 82-030-04 and the <br />City of Roseville number for this project is SP 160-090-06; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a cooperative effort between Washington County and the City of Roseville is the <br />appropriate method to facilitate the design and construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Washington County and the City of Roseville desire to use Federal, State Aid and <br />local funds on this improvement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Agreement is made pursuant to statutory authority contained in Minnesota <br />Statute 162.17 sub. 1. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUAllY AGREED AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />A. PLANS AND SPECIFICATION PREPARATION <br />1. Washington County shall be responsible for the preparation of the <br />necessary plans and specifications of the project, and obtain all approvals <br />. required in arriving at the bid specifications for this project. <br /> <br />2. The City of Roseville shall submit MN/DOT's Delegated Contract Process <br />Form 01, Right of Way Certificate 1 A, and Utility Relocation Certificate <br />and other required information to MN/DOT prior to advertising for <br />construction bids. <br /> <br />B. ADVERTISEMENT AND AWARD OF CONTRACT <br />1. After the plans and specifications have been approved, all permits and <br />approvals obtained, Washington County shall advertise for construction <br />bids. <br /> <br />2. Washington County shall award the contract but verbal concurrence of <br />award by the City of Roseville shall be a condition precedent to the award <br />of the bid. A resolution confirming the concurrence of bid award shall be <br />forwarded to Washington County. ' <br />
