Consider Reappointment to Roseville Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br /> Mayor Roe recognized Member Vicki Lee for her past work on the HRA; and so- <br /> licited City Council support and ratification of her reappointment. <br /> Councilmember McGehee spoke in support for Ms. Lee. <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11080 (Attachment <br /> A) entitled " Resolution Approving Mayor's Appointment of Vicki Lee to the <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville;" for the <br /> term of five years beginning September 24, 2013 to September 23, 2013. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Laliberte; Etten; and Roe. <br /> Nays:None. <br /> j. Approve the Interlocal Contract to joining HGACBuy <br /> As previously noted, staff requested removal of this item for administrative versus <br /> City Council action.. <br /> Recess <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 6:15 p.m. and reconvened at approximately <br /> 6:17 p.m., at which time Councilmember Willmus returned to the dais. <br /> 8. Twin Lakes Property Owners Discussion <br /> Mayor Roe welcomed representatives and/or owners of Twin Lakes property and <br /> thanked them for their attendance for tonight's discussion, asking that they identi- <br /> fy themselves and provide comment to facilitate tonight's discussion. <br /> Terry Foster, Representative of Hagen Properties, 2785 Fairview Avenue <br /> North Mr. Foster provided a bench handout packet, attached hereto and made a <br /> part hereof. As a real estate broker for over thirty (30 years, Mr. Foster opined <br /> that the problems experienced in the Twin Lakes area were no different than those <br /> experienced in any other City, with some more readily solved in the short-term <br /> than others. Mr. Foster advised that the real estate community looked to four (4) <br /> considerations in marketing/developing properties: <br /> 1. Communication with the businesses and financial community <br /> 2. Attitude: Is the City reactive or proactive;positive or negative? <br /> 3. Who's responsible and are they effective or not? <br />
