It was discussed that more work was to be conducted at the meetings, and not in <br />subcommittees to alleviate some of this stress. For this reason, a work scheduleand calendar Formatted: Strikethrough <br />was created to assist the Commission in prioritizing its goals and objectives. <br />Chair Grefenberg reported he � Attended _- participated in the Council's five interviews that were <br />recently conducted for the Human Rights Commission seat vacancy. He was pleased there was <br />great interest in the HRC and noted each of the five candidates were highly qualified. He did not object to the addition& of two HRC <br />commissioners.. <br />Commissioner Singleton also supported the addition of two new members. <br />Commissioner Becker commented this would allow for the subcommittee work to be more <br />evenly spread about between the HRC members -, -and that the quorum prohibition for standing <br />committees would be less restrictive.
